I was delighted to be asked to be a guest speaker for Aspire Higher which is part of the Uni Connect project at the University of Northampton.    Aspire Higher works on a range of projects that encourage secondary school students to make well-informed decisions about their next steps into higher education.

The event ‘ Keep Calm and Stress Less with Aspire Higher‘ formed  part on an online Easter Stress event which was run through the Aspire Higher You Tube channel.        The aim of the event was to support students in years 11, 12 and 13 with advice, tips and techniques to develop their emotional resilience, mental wellbeing and stress levels.

How to be Confident with Confidence Coach Lisa Phillips.

My involvement in the ‘ Keep Calm and Stress Less with Aspire Higher’  was  to  record a 15 to 20 minute session on self-confidence.  This includes how to be confident and feel good in the world we live in today!

Having worked with numerous schools, teachers and universities and students,  I am well aware how important the topic of self confidence is!  In particular, keeping levels of self confidence and self esteem high during a pandemic is particularly important for our young people.

Therefore, I am really pleased to be involved in this fabulous project.   You can watch my video clip here
